Patient 22022
This is what I consider advanced gynecomastia. His chest is pretty large in size and the shape is not flattering. In addition, he is also a secondary gynecomastia case which means he had treatment before he presented to me. Secondary gynecomastia is complex surgery because it is often associated with scar tissue and difficult tissue dissection and removal. You simply don’t know what your going to deal with and I wouldn’t recommend this type of surgery for any surgeon without a lot of experience.
He is seen her one day after surgery. I can tell you this is not your typical one day result. I can’t explain why is isn’t more bruised but I’ll take it. I couldn’t be happier with his skin retraction as this is responsible for the smooth, flat appearance of his chest. I guess there is some luck to it all—not everyone enjoys this early impressive result after complex surgery.
It’s all excellent news. I have NO problem showing you a post operative day one photo because if all goes according to plan this is what he will look like. It’s not a procedure that typically takes days or months to see your result. Right out of the box it should be good to go. If not, I would wonder.
Post treatment chest care is essential for him to maintain this wonderful beginning (metamorphosis/transformation/liberation). Those who invest in their recovery will be rewarded with a good looking chest. Make your gynecomastia treatment boring—no drama, no bs, just a nice looking chest.
