Patient Details

This is a Zone 1 gynecomastia case about 8 months from treatment. It was not uneventful. He had a hematoma on his left side days after surgery while he was working. He managed to drain the blood that accumulated at his home (he is from out of town like most of my patients). He then drove quite a way for a steroid injection. He worked his chest diligently and now enjoys a very nice result. He is thinking of bodybuilding competitions now which means he owns his result.

Compilations after gynecomastia surgery at the Austin Gynecomastia Center are rare but they do happen. Nothing is terrible but complications can impact the degree of perfection you obtain. All can be managed for sure. Patience and understanding help things a lot. Following my very doable post treatment instructions will ensure a boring experience and a speedy recovery. Making sure that YOU don’t do things to sabotage your result is critical. Follow my post treatment game plan.

Gynecomastia surgery has its nuances. To make the surgery “boring” and uneventful (in terms of complications) you need to consider those surgeons with vast experience. Don’t fall for the “I’ve done a few of them over the years.” Experience matters when it comes to your gynecomastia surgery.
