Patient 22001
This patient is about 5 months out from his treatment for gynecomastia. Large, asymmetrical masses were removed. He had ample glandular tissue. He had significant natural skin laxity but fortunately his skin retracted well. His nipple-areola complexes are smaller and darker as this is what happens when you remove ALL the tissue under the areolas (were gynecomastia originates).
With my trained eye, I see that he still has some healing to go as he still looks like his skin hasn’t settled down completely yet. It takes over a year for the chest to heal after gynecomastia treatment. I can also tell that he wasn’t working his chest with deep massage and rolling as instructed as he has some fullness at each nipple-areola complex that wouldn’t be there if he worked his recovery as instructed.
Some guys stop after a short period of time, some work their chest but not firm enough, and some never work their recovery as instructed but I can tell you that superior results only comes from those who put the time and effort into the recovery period which can last many months. The desired result is a smooth, flat chest without creases, folds or irregularities and this is best achieved with rolling and massage daily for months if needed until that goal is achieved. Invest and you will certainly be rewarded.
