Patient Details

This patient is a tertiary gynecomastia (been done two times before). He never noticed a difference. He travelled from far to the AGC to get it done right. He is seen here post operative day 1. This means these masses were removed less than 12 hours before and you can clearly see the world of a difference in his before and after photos. Revision gynecomastia is far more challenging and unknown compared to a chest that has never been operated upon before. Revision gynecomastia is not uncommon unfortunately as many surgeons believe they must leave tissue to avoid a “crater” or they simply didn’t manage the case thoughtfully. Most surgeons believe gynecomastia is within their domain even though they have little experience with it. Trust me, it’s an art and requires experience from hundreds of cases (at least) until you start to “get the hang of it”. Make sure you visit only with the most qualified surgeons for your care if you want it done right the first time. One and done at the Austin Gynecomastia Center.
