Patient Details

Five months after treatment for Zone 1 gynecomastia, this patient has a masculine chest contour, smaller nipple-areola complexes, and no remaining puffiness. Before surgery, he had small, female-like breasts with puffy nipples. Today, he is pleased with his result and feels more confident.

At the Austin Gynecomastia Center, that transformation begins with experience. Over AGC’s 26-year history, I have treated thousands of men with gynecomastia. My approach emphasizes complete removal of the gynecomastia mass, including the hormonally sensitive tissue beneath the nipples, to eliminate puffiness and minimize the risk of persistence or recurrence.

The procedure is typically brief, and patients generally return to everyday activities relatively quickly. Achieving the finest result, however, requires a commitment to the prescribed postoperative routine. Compression, lipofoam, activity precautions, and appropriate care throughout healing are essential parts of treatment.

The reward extends beyond a more masculine chest. It is the freedom to wear what you want, move comfortably, and stop organizing your life around hiding gynecomastia.

For this patient, that is what liberation looks like.
