This is a zone 1 gynecomastia result that looks wonderful. Interesting enough, he flew in to see me with concerns about scar tissue. When seen in the office there was little evidence of scar formation. We then discussed the psychological journey involved during the recovery period. He said he can “see” little asymmetries and side to side differences. He told me that after seeing his before photos he has to learn how to accept his impressive, although imperfect result.

Not much is known about the psychological recovery from gynecomastia. No doubt it doesn’t come easy for some in that they tend to overanalyze their chest for imperfections. This is not therapeutic or helpful for those seeking liberation from the burden of gynecomastia.
