Patient Details

I have just seen this patient in follow up as I write this story. He was scheduled for gynecomastia treatment surgery before the Covid-19 pandemic and we had to cancel him. He is a really sweet man – humble and respectful, a plumber by trade. He has very significant gynecomastia as you can see. These are small C cup female looking breasts. He has had to live with this his whole adult life. I can only imagine how difficult is must have been to start your day looking at that chest in the mirror. His post-operative photos are the next day. Notice that there is an IMMEDIATE shape transformation once those large glandular masses were removed. It wasn’t easy to remove them. I was fortunate enough to video his procedure and I will likely use his video as a demonstration of my four step technique for gynecomastia treatment in a paper I will be submitting to the respected Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. It was humbling to sit in the room with him when his garments were removed and he saw himself for the first time without gynecomastia. It’s emotional. It’s transformative. It leaves me with the feeling that I am doing great things from my peeps. It motivates me to continue to help others as much as I can. It makes me feel like I’m making a difference. I thank all my patients for this possibility and I will continue to work hard for all gynecomastia patients worldwide. We will conquer this struggle for sure!
