This is a gynecomastia surgery patient who had prominent well localized gynecomastia since puberty. You can clearly appreciate his pointy “male breasts” and enlarged areolas with herniation and puffiness.He sent these photos to me from his home 1 week out from surgery. As most of my patients are from out of town, I don’t often get the luxury of obtaining their post-operative photos in my office using my standard set up.It’s amazing how well he has healed: his skin retracted perfectly and his areolas are smaller and his chest is completely normal looking. The transformation of his chest is very real and just as important is the transformation of his mind. He is basically a new man, on a much better course in life.
