This is a 52 year old male who presented to me complaining of fullness in his midsection and flanks. During my examination, I also noted some fullness of his chest area that resembled gynecomastia. He never made mention of his chest area. I came to the conclusion while talking to him that he was fairly self-conscious about his chest area – so much so that he didn’t mention it to me because of the embarrassment of admitting he had some gynecomastia. In any case, I told him that the best treatment for gynecomastia with surgery in his case would be to perform liposuction of his abdomen, posterior flanks, and all 3 Zones of his chest area.
