This is a 20 year old young man who had developed gynecomastia or puffy nipples since puberty. He is seen here after removal of breast tissue beneath both of his nipple-areolar complexes during surgery for gynecomastia.This is a handwritten note that this patient asked me to share with my patients:“Once I learned about gynecomastia surgery it took me a little over a year to pull the trigger on it. What seemed to be a radical choice turned out to not be a big deal at all. I would recommend to anyone who suffers from the mental anguish of gynecomastia to have the surgery. I feel the benefits of the surgery every hour of every day.
