Patient Details

This patient is 5’7″ and 122 pounds. He has a history of developing fullness in his breasts shortly after taking over the counter muscle building products. He was seen by an endocrinologist who placed him on medications. Despite this, his fullness continued and we opted to remove the tissue. He is seen here four months after direct removal of gynecomastia tissue through and incision about his areola, also known as gynecomastia surgery. Caution must be taken when using over the counter muscle mass products as they are essentially prohormones that can cause the development of gynecomastia. Usually stopping the use of the products will result in an improvement in breast fullness.
